SM224 – “Man-O-Grr”

Another prototype speedmapping event, organized by the Quake Mapping community, with the Copper mod by Matthew Breit “Lunaran” and textures by Aleksander Marhall “Khreathor”.

We had no constraints this time other than a limited time (~7 days).

I finished sooner than expected, but I kept my scope really small and focused as much as I could on maximizing the space I had initially created. I still had some ideas fresh from Coffee Quake 2, so the design process for this map was quite similar but I took care of adding some extra details to the level.

The map is gloomy, and a bit on the harder side. My plan was to include only ogres to this map, but in the end I thought it would have been hell. But I got the name “Man-o-Grr” stuck in my head ever since that initial idea.
