QBJ was a total sucess so Ben “makkon” Hale is going for a double dip with QBJ2. With updated textures and a new Copper version (1.3) by Lunaran.
The setup was very similar to last year’s QBJ: around 3-3.5 weeks to make a Quake map inspired by brutalist architecture.
So similarly to last year I tried to go for clearly differentiated areas, but I shifted my main focus to shapes, interesting layouts, colors and interesting lighting instead of trying to give it a realistic appearance.
