SM229 – Blueprints in Red

A Quake map I made in about 7-8 hours, for a weekend speedmapping event where we were limited to work with only 6 textures.

The map is completely vanilla, very small and very tame for what could be accomplished but I didn’t want to go too crazy since I didn’t have a lot of time to work with. The spaces in this level are very confined and the lighting is dramatic, which lead to tense fights, just like they did in the original game. This also helped me keep the file size very small, rivaling maps from the original release.
